About Us

"Khulunoni" which directly translated means "Throne" is a mentorship programme aimed at the growth and development of young African girls. Our mission is to show our girls the art of possibility, give them access to resources and exposure to help them dream bigger and see girls who look just like them achieving the ‘impossible’.

Our Mentees

 When my mentor realised that despite my best efforts i was still struggling to improve my maths marks, she immediately enrolled me into extra maths classes that i previously could not afford and within only a month i have seen visible improvement! Thank you! 

Ndivhuwo: Mentee

 Being lucky enough to be selected as one of Khulunoni's mentees gave me so much self confidence! if my mentors can believe in me, i can believe in myself too! 

Milingoni: Mentee

 I want to be a lot of things, i want to be a Doctor, a Pilot, an Astronomer, an Explorer, a Physiologist, to name a few.. My mentor says I can do anything i put my mind to, but i need to set actionable and realistic goals. I'm ready to go! 

Masindi

 I am an orphan, I lost my parents when i was 6 years old and i live with my grandmother.. I am determined to build her a beautiful house with access to basic sanitation, and I want to get her access to good health care. I can do anything I put my mind to.
